Alignment of Teeth
The forwardly placed upper and lower teeth can be corrected by modern type of fixed appliances. Some teeth need to be extracted when the teeth are crowded. Artificial gaps can be made (proximal stripping) when there is minimal protrusion. Minor teeth corrections are possible with acrylic Removable appliances. Activation of the appliance should be done in 2 weeks interval.
Restoration in Teeth
When the caries in the tooth is not very deep the tooth can be filled and saved (Restoration). Silver amalgam is a strong material to fill the molar teeth. Reinforced GIC is a white coloured material which can be used for intermediate restoration. Composite Resins are tooth coloured materials, commonly used in front teeth. When the front tooth is grossly affected, a ceramic crown placement is advised.
Cosmetic Dental Treatments
- Teeth stains can be removed by advanced techniques and ultrasonic instruments.
- Some people will be having midline dental gap. It can be corrected by composite materials.
- Front tooth fractures, rotation and other cosmetic dental needs are corrected naturally.
